It covers&nbsp;their&nbsp;design, creation, research, implementation, exhibition, and&nbsp;role in&nbsp;society. The event also aims to develop conceptual foundations for artefact theory in digital media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-75fd3d139ef871bba7ca45ab85bcd0bf\"><strong>EXPANDED (A)UDIOVISUAL (I)NTELLIGENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b317747871f8df72db426802f693e933\">Authors are invited to submit papers and exhibition artwork proposals across all areas of creative digital art, with an emphasis on artefacts, art installations, and general-purpose interactive systems that embrace expanded audiovisual intelligence, i.e., the application of artificial intelligence in the creative process and exhibition of audiovisual artefacts.&nbsp;Both research and application papers are relevant to ARTeFACTo 2026 BEJA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3672c0d3177c5f99ce124c005eed53fa\">Artworks submitted for the exhibition must include a short paper (for pages) and a detailed descriptive video in HD MP4 format, lasting up to 4 minutes (with optional English subtitles). Please submit a permanent link (optionally private) to the descriptive video alongside the article. Papers accepted and presented at the conference by one of the authors will appear in the conference proceedings. Artworks accepted for exhibition will be published in the conference proceedings, provided that the authors submit an appropriate short paper description for each artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-248d20e6d1c5a9b08caca4140de0c0c9\">Note that the conference requires face-to-face participation, so remote presentations of papers will be allowed only in justified cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-72ba95aaf9e1ac0e4a46c80597b55ee3\">We aim to have the accepted papers be published in the\u00a0<strong>ACM\u2019s Digital Library<\/strong>\u00a0and indexed in\u00a0<strong>Scopus<\/strong>.
